Yes — CarConex is free for car owners to download and use when searching, comparing, and connecting with service providers.
How does CarConex work?
Tell us what you want sorted, add a few details and photos, and submit your request. Local detailers can then recommend the service they think suits your car, along with pricing and availability. You review the responses and choose who you want to book.
Do I pay through CarConex?
No. Payments are made directly between you and the detailer. CarConex helps you submit requests, compare responses, and connect with detailers, but payment is handled outside the app.
Am I locked in when I make a request?
No. Submitting a request does not commit you to booking. You can review the detailers who respond, their recommendations, pricing, profiles and reviews before deciding.
How do I know I’m getting a fair price?
CarConex lets you review pricing alongside the detailer’s recommendation, profile, previous work and reviews, so you can consider the overall value rather than price alone.
Are the service providers checked?
CarConex is designed to help you make a more informed choice by giving you access to provider profiles, previous work and reviews. Use the exact wording here to match whatever provider verification process you currently actually perform.
How quickly will I hear back from providers?
Response times can vary depending on your location, request and provider availability. When suitable local detailers receive your request, they can respond with their recommendation, pricing and availability through the app.

Is it free for detailers to join?
Yes. CarConex is free to join and use. There are no subscription fees to create a profile and receive detailing requests.
Does CarConex take commission?
No. CarConex does not take commission from your bookings.
Will I receive real customer enquiries?
Car owners submit requests with details about what they want sorted, along with photos, location and preferred times. You can review the request and decide whether it suits your business before responding.
Can I set my own pricing and services?
Yes. You stay in control of the services you offer and the prices you charge. You can also recommend the service or add-ons you believe best suit the customer’s request.
How do I get paid?
Payment is arranged directly between you and the customer. CarConex does not process or hold customer payments.
Can other automotive service providers join CarConex?
For now, CarConex is focused on car detailing. Additional automotive service categories are planned as the platform grows.
